We try to keep this short. Tournament Tracker is built for league and tournament organisers. We collect the minimum needed to run your competition and we don’t sell or share your data.
What we collect
- Account details — your email and name. Passwords are stored only as a one-way bcrypt hash; we never see them in plain text. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email, name, and profile picture from Google.
- League data you enter — team names, player names, venues, fixtures, frame results, and anything else you add to your league. This belongs to you.
- Server logs — IP address, user agent, and request paths, retained for a short period to investigate errors and abuse.
- A session cookie— used to keep you signed in. It’s essential for the app to work and isn’t used for tracking.
What we don’t do
- No third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
- No selling, renting, or sharing your data with third parties.
- No marketing emails you didn’t ask for.
Public league pages
When you publish a league, the public page (e.g. /l/your-league) shows the team names, player names, fixtures, and scores you’ve entered. Don’t add information you wouldn’t want visible to anyone with the link.
Where data is stored
Tournament Tracker is self-hosted on our own server. Your data lives in a PostgreSQL database that only the application can reach. Backups are encrypted at rest.
Your rights
You can delete a league from its dashboard once it’s empty (no teams, players, venues or fixtures). To delete your account or request a copy of your data, email the address below.
Changes
If we materially change how we handle your data, we’ll update this page and bump the “last updated” date above.
